About Me
I attended Biola University where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology then pursued a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University. Since then, I have become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at the graduate level. I have 17 years of experience in the field of psychotherapy and enjoy working with my clients to help them improve their relationships and to help their lives become more whole and complete. I have also gone on to achieve certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as am an Approved Consultant in EMDR. I also have a certification in Prepare/Enrich, which is a marital and pre-marital tool for helping couples achieve a stronger and healthier relationship. I am currently licensed in the state of California, Texas, Idaho, and Oklahoma.
I am also a professor of psychology and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor at Hope International University. I love working with all populations, however, I specialize in working with trauma, couples, sexuality issues, and spirituality issues, as well as depression and anxiety. Feel free to contact me with any questions or for a free consultation! I consider myself to be a devout Christ follower, however, I work well people of all faiths, backgrounds, belief systems, and lifestyles.
